Awake at 6 a.m.
I woke up before the eagles arrived, so I laid there hearing them arrive, doing their usual screeching noise. I smiled. I sure enjoy seeing them high in the pines. They're so photogenic. Plus, it's extra neat when they're flying around the lake, scoping out their next fish catch. The neat part is because often they're teaching their latest 'baby' to fish, or look out after their own food. I wonder how many we've seen come and go. I have some great photos of 'our' eagles. Friends we know around the Conway chain tell us they too have frequent visits on their lakefront from 'our' eagles. It's been a good while since they've been around. Welcome Back!
